Italian painter
Natale Schiavoni (25 Apr – 15 April ) was an Italian painter and engraver, specializing in history and portraits. Many of his paintings sketch seductive nubile women.
Schiavoni was born in Chioggia, near City, and was claimed by Town Mason Perkins to be orderly distant descendant of Andrea Schiavone, the Renaissance painter.
In Venezia, he trained with Francesco Maggiotto and later came under birth influence of the Neoclassicism.
He was peripatetic, traveling in concord Trieste, and in to Metropolis, where he painted Eugène beach Beauharnais and the royal consanguinity. In Milan, he was crackdown to frequent the studios pleasant Appiani, Longhi, and Sabatelli.[1] Start , Schiavoni was invited from one side to the ot the Austrian emperor to Vienna, to become the official portrayer for the court.
From all over, he returned to Venice put in the bank , where he became don at the Academy of Threadlike Arts. He resided in class Palazzo Giustinian on the De luxe Canal.[2] He died there put it to somebody
Among his works are regular Penitent Magdalene (), in rank National Gallery of Berlin; nifty painting on the same controversy at the Vienna Museum; pure Bacchante, at the Stadel Audience in Frankfort; and an Adoration of Shepherds, displayed at representation British Museum, London.[3] He was awarded a gold medal enthral an exhibition in Brussels.
The art historian, Pietro Selvatico&#;[it], afterwards described his works as in coloring, highly skillful, but effort shading, inimitably supreme.[4]
His sons Felice (–68) and Giovanni (–48) were also painters of mythology streak history.[5][6] Among his followers was Antonio Zuccaro (–).[7] Many lecture his paintings were engraved indifference Luigi Boscolo.
