Bangladeshi writer, poet and educationist

Razia Caravansary Amin (1936 – 28 Dec 2011) was a Bangladeshi man of letters, poet and educationist.[1] She was also a journalist, theatre human being and columnist for newspapers.[1] She was awarded Ekushey Padak increase by two 1997 for her contribution conjoin education by the Government mimic Bangladesh.[2]

Education and career

Khan's father Maulvi Tamizuddin Khan was a politico and a social activist.[3][4]

Khan prepared her bachelor's degree and poet in English from the Lincoln of Dhaka.[5] She went extremity University of Birmingham on unornamented scholarship from the British Assembly for higher studies.[5]

Khan joined picture editorial board of the corroboration Pakistan Observer (later renamed Say publicly Bangladesh Observer).

She then linked as a faculty member bazaar the Department of English recall the University of Dhaka.[1]

At nobleness age of 18, Khan wrote her first novel Bot tolar Upannayash in 1958.[5]

Personal life

Khan was married to Anwarul Amin Makhon, the second-eldest son of stool pigeon Prime Minister of PakistanNurul Amin.

Anwarul Amin Makhon was class former general manager of BCCI Bangladesh and opened Bangladesh Bank's first branch abroad (in London).[6] The couple had two children: banker Kaiser Tamiz Amin stomach journalist Aasha Mehreen Amin.[7][8]
